The Board of WAFA Ltd is delighted to share with you a newsletter from the Royal Belgian Flower Arrangement Society (RBFAS) showcasing the wonderful work created by their teacher members.
Marie-Claire Nellens from RBFAS writes:
'It was considered as an artistic challenge. An invitation made to the teachers of modern floral art to express, through flowers,their vision of the damage made to our planet by pollution. Photographic material was their inspiration.
The initiators were Mit Ingelaere and Brigitte Depienne, two of our international judges. Title of the exhibition: "Beauty after all" ...
We were asked to illustrate all sorts of pollution: air, light, noise, environmental, etc.
We tried to work it out as best as we could, and, believe me it turned out to be a super experience.'
The challenge set was so creatively interpreted, enjoy!
